The Château Malartic Lagravière owns 64 hectares planted to 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot.
The terroir is gravel and clay with limestone soils. The wine is aged in an average of 65% new, French oak barrels.
The nose is aromatic and elegant. It is composed of juicy blackcurrant, blackberry and hints of licorice and toasted vanilla. The palate is fruity and fleshy with round tannins.
